Fergie sets a date for 2009 wedding

American singer Stacy Ann Ferguson, aka Fergie, is set to wed fiance and long-term love Josh Duhamel on January 10th 2009, according to the latest Hollywood news.

The 33-year-old Black Eyed Peas star has reportedly decided to exchange wedding vows with the 36-year-old actor early in the New Year, after months of careful wedding planning.

"They are taking their time to get everything right. They only plan on getting married once," a source close to the couple told OK! magazine.

It has also been revealed that the bride-to-be is working with legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld to create her dream wedding dress.

"She is working with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on getting her fantasy gown," the source added.

Expected to be a star-studded event, the January wedding will see some of LA's biggest names descend upon tinsel town to celebrate the union.

German fashion designer Lagerfeld also designed the wedding dress of American actress Katie Holmes for her marriage to iconic actor Tom Cruise in 2006.
