Dad buys daughter £100k dream wedding

A young bride's wedding planning dreams became a reality, when her father forked out £100,000 for her big day, the Daily Mail reports.

Missy Quinn, 16, recently tied the knot with 17-year-old fiance Thomas Moghon in Cheshire in a lavish wedding paid for by her doting dad.

The bride wore a £16,000 wedding dress complete with Swarovski crystals and a ten-foot train, accessorized with a £500 bouquet and arrived at the wedding venue in a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

As newlyweds, the couple and 150 guests celebrated the union with a champagne reception before jetting off to Turkey on honeymoon.

Commenting on the extravagant nuptials, Missy told the newspaper: "It cost a fortune, but I've always wanted a big wedding and my dad has been saving for ages to pay for it."

Mum Teresa, 33, added: "I was surprised they wanted to get married so young in this day and age. But we could see they were madly in love."

According to national figures, the average cost of a UK wedding currently stands at around £20,000.
