Teeth in focus for perfect wedding photos

More and more brides-to-be are turning to cosmetic dental treatments and orthodontics in order to ensure a beautiful smile for perfect wedding photography, experts say.

According to the London Lingual Orthodontic Clinic, in recent times there has been a 30 per cent increase in the number of women seeking smile make-overs in preparation for their wedding day.

"The wedding day is such an important part of women's lives and now they want a perfect smile for their perfect day," said dentist Dr Asif Chatoo.

"Women want to be able to look back at their wedding photos and remember it as one of the happiest days of their lives."

Brides or grooms considering dental treatment as part of their wedding planning are advised to have the initial consultation at least 12 months before the wedding date.

Celebrity fans of cosmetic dentistry include TV presenter Kelly Brooke, fashion designer Sadie Frost and T4 heartthrob Steve Jones.
