Unconventional wedding transport turns heads
Newlyweds from Hampshire managed to make their wedding day an event to remember by opting for an unusual convoy to take them to and from the
wedding venue.
Motorbike enthusiasts and childhood sweethearts Chris Dent and Mo Cooper travelled to their wedding ceremony among a convoy of 15 guests on motorcycles, including the groom's prize chopper bike, the Petersfield Post reports.
Commenting on their untraditional mode of wedding transport, the bride told the local newspaper: "Chris has always been mad about motorbikes, so it was a kind of given that motorbikes would be a part of our wedding. We asked all our bike friends to turn up on their bikes."
Father of the groom Peter added: "It was a perfect day. The weather was ideal, and the convoy turned lots of heads. Some people looked like they couldn't believe their eyes."
However, the couple aren't the only pair to arrange an unusual way of transporting the bridal party and wedding guests on their big day. Last month, the Melton Times reported that a groom used four builder's trucks, with hooters and flashing lights as a wedding convoy.
