Dancing on Ice winner to tie the knot

Singer and TV personality Suzanne Shaw has announced her engagement to current boyfriend, radio DJ Jason King.

The 26-year-old former Hear'Say star is set to wed new fiance Jason, 33, after claiming she would never marry following her previous relationship with notorious love rat Darren Day.

Commenting on the happy news, Suzanne gushed: "We couldn't be happier about our decision and can't wait to start planning our wedding and married life together."

The Dancing on Ice series three winner is mum to four-year-old son Corey with ex Darren, who left her just weeks after the birth.

Groom-to-be Jason, part of Radio 1 duo JK and Joel, started dating Suzanne in 2005 after being friends since her time in pop band Hear'Say. The happy couple currently live together with Corey in Buckinghamshire.

Recognising her commitment to balancing motherhood with her career, the British public voted Suzanne celebrity mother of the year 2008.
