EastEnders star finally ready to walk down the aisle

EastEnders star Scott Maslen is planning an exclusive celebrity wedding, it has been revealed.

The actor, who plays Jack Branning in the soap, popped the question to girlfriend Estelle Rubio after nine years of dating, he told Hello! magazine.

"We were both wary of marriage because we come from broken families," he explained. "But finally everything seems to be coming together.

"We have a fantastic son, have moved to our dream home and our careers are going well. And most importantly, after nine years we are still madly in love."

The couple are planning a lavish ceremony with a guest list of over 200 people, including fellow EastEnders stars Barbara Windsor and Steve McFadden.

Scott and Estelle are good friends with television presenter Chris Tarrant's ex-wife Ingrid.

The divorcee recently revealed to the Daily Mail that the couple and their son Zak spent many weekends at her house to cheer her up following the split.
