Kate and Wills to announce summer wedding?
There could be a royal wedding next summer, if rumours surrounding Prince William and Kate Middleton are true.
A source who claims to be close to the couple has told the Daily Star that they are wedding planning and will make the announcement when Wills returns from his Navy tour.
"Kate recently told her family this Christmas would be the last one she spends with them, which is a firm indication of the couple's plans," the insider said.
While the Prince has been stationed in the Caribbean, the couple have been discussing the wedding venue, although they are yet to make a final decision.
"William favours St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle," the friend claimed. "Westminster Abbey is very much linked to his mother Diana's funeral and St Paul's Cathedral is where his parents got married."
During Williams' absence, Kate has been attending a number of functions in his place and perhaps her recent appearance at the wedding of the Queen's cousin Lady Rose Windsor and George Gilman may have given her a few ideas for her own big day.
