Colour scheme change!
So with eleven months to go we have completely changed the color scheme to reflect the wedding reception room a bit better.
The theme is now "vintage" with the colours of gold, and dark brown featuring massively and dusky pink appearing in the flowers, I met with our florist last night (link below) and She had some great ideas for bird cage floral decorations and the use of old dutch roses, there are some great photos on her website and my mind is overflowing with ideas for "wow" factor centerpieces

I am so relieved that we are incorporating my favorite colours! R was a little grumpy about it at first but he soon came round to the idea and now I don't need to change my wedding dress ( my dress is a certain colour that would not have matched the previous theme of black and white)
I also met with Ruth Hunter from Finesse Planning - Ruth has taken all of my ideas and thoughts and managed to make sense of them and literally pulled everything that I wanted together in the space of two hours, she is brilliant (link below) and I am very pleased she is now going to be our on the day coordinator

We have decided not to have a string quartet or chair covers, instead we are going to put the money towards other areas like increasing the flower budget and some kind of entertainment during the drinks reception.......we saw a fab old fashioned, or should I say "vintage" ice cream cart at a wedding fair at the weekend which we both loved
I don't think there is much to report other than the fact that I am still keeping toblerone in business and I haven't lost any weight yet! :) I have a trip to a spa booked next week and I am really looking forward to that, what else....oh yeah - I have to go and have an operation to remove one of my teeth, it will be in the next three weeks and I am petrified
but I have been in considerable pain with the same tooth for 18 months, I have decided to bite the bullet and go for the op in the hope that I will be pain free after my recovery
That's all for now!
