Konnie Huq and Charlie Brooker's secret wedding

After revealing to Look magazine recently that she put her wedding plans on hold to film the Xtra Factor, is has emerged Konnie Huq has secretly tied the knot.

The former Blue Peter presenter wed Screenwipe star Charlie Brooker at a wedding venue in Las Vegas last month.

It's been a very hush hush affair and I doubt we're going to see any wedding photography from this union in the papers.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said this is because Brooker prefers to lead a private life and is struggling with the media interest in his relationship with Huq.

"Charlie didn't want a big, tacky celebrity wedding because he doesn't see him and Konnie as a celebrity couple," the insider added.

Sounds like this will be a bit different to some of the other celeb Vegas weddings we've seen, like Britney Spears' 55-hour marriage and Katie Price's union with Alex Reid.

Even when celebs try to keep their weddings private these days, reports of the celebrations still seem to find their way into gossip magazines.

I think it's great that these two kept things so private. Just because they're famous it doesn't mean they have to share every aspect of their lives with us.

After all, I wouldn't invite thousands of people I didn't know to my wedding, would you?
