Go green as a springtime bride

Spring has sprung, the grass is riz - and that means green is an ideal accent colour to add a common theme to wedding planning.
While a white wedding is the obvious traditional option, I think a splash of colour can help the big day to really look the part, with green the best shade for springtime as the flowers begin to bloom and the leaves return to the trees.
After all, as the wedding season really gets underway some guests could be going to five or six ceremonies - and you wouldn't want yours to look the same as everybody else's.
I'm not saying that a bright green wedding dress is the way to go either, though, but there are compromises that can add colour to a conventional white or ivory outfit.
Ribbons, accessories and flowers are all a way to add colour - while for men there are always cufflinks and neckties.
Taking the spring theme even further, why not have a finger buffet as a relaxed and cool alternative to a sit-down meal?
In the States, potluck weddings are sometimes planned by people with strict budgets, where guests are asked to bring a plate of food to contribute towards the catering.
Although we might be a bit too proud to do this in the UK, it certainly shows that the celebration of two people's love for one another can overcome any obstacles that stand in its way.
Will your wedding have a seasonal theme, or do you want a traditional white wedding?
