Hilary Duff: I don't want to look like a cupcake in my wedding dress

Hilary Duff says that she doesn't want a huge wedding dress for fear of
resembling a cupcake.
Choosing a
wedding dress has got to be one of the most exciting parts of getting married
for any bride. After all, it means we women get to shop while dreaming about
one of the best days of our lives.
One person
who has already starting thinking about her gown is Hilary Duff, who is getting
ready to walk down the aisle with her boyfriend of two years Mike Comrie.
Speaking to
In Touch Weekly, the actress said that although the pair haven't set a date,
she knows what she wants her wedding dress to look like.
"I
want it to be traditional. I don't want it to be too big and overwhelming,
because I'm so small. A big dress would make me look like a big cupcake,"
she explained.
It sounds
to me like this is going to be a gorgeous look for Hilary. She clearly knows
what she wants and seems to understand that simple is sometimes better when it
comes to a wedding.
Although there's definitely nothing wrong with a
bit of bling, or splashing out on the perfect frock, brides should remember
that the day is about them, not how long their veil is.
