Singer Kesha wants to be Katy Perry's bridesmaid – but how easy is it to choose a wedding party?

I know that planning a wedding can be a stressful and very time-consuming process for a woman.  After all, it is bad enough organising everything from your wedding venue to your honeymoon without having to worry about who your bridesmaids are.

One person who may be thinking about who will accompany her as she walks down the aisle is Katy Perry, as Kesha has recently claimed that she wants to take part in the ceremony.

The Tik Tok singer said: "Katy had better ask me to be a bridesmaid."

She also stated that she loves English men and would like Perry's fiance Russell Brand to find her a boyfriend from London.

When push comes to shove, I think brides should just do what makes them happy on their big day.

Although they may have to let a few friends down when it comes to deciding who gets to put on a dress and hold a bouquet of wedding flowers, it is about their special moment with their husband-to-be, not which of their friends get to be in all the photos.

If they want a huge bridal party then of course, that's fine, but I think it can be better to keep things simple. If they are true friends, any girls who don't get to be a bridesmaid will understand and just enjoy the celebration as a guest.
