Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, has revealed that she would love to pick up her wedding flowers and tie the knot on the show.

She told DS that although there are no plans for her character to tie the knot just yet, she really wants to walk down the aisle.

However, Keegan may have a few requests when it comes to the wedding dress her character wears for the occasion.

She said: "It'd have to be a floaty dress, though, so I could eat and breathe out, instead of breathing in all day - it'd definitely have to be a baggy dress!"

If it were me, I'd be urging the Corrie producers to write me a wedding storyline as soon as possible.

I'd love the chance to get dressed up and play at being a bride for a day. Just think about it, you'd be able to get your hair and makeup done, wear an amazing gown and have all the fun of a wedding reception without the months of planning and expense that goes with it!

Sounds perfect to me.
