Counting down to DollFish day

A Doll's journey to marry her Fish

Wedding paperwork :s

Call me naieve but I totally forgot about the amount of paperwork involved both before and after the all important WD (Wedding Day)!

As well as the long list of name changing documentation, I will also need to be put on h2b's house paperwork too as I wont be moving in with him til the day. Then I also have to go to my local Register Office and 'give notice' to get a marriage certificate. And of course as with all important offices that you need to access from time to time (along with Dentist, GPs), they only open during work hours. So that's another half day off work!

Ooh! I also need to start practising my new signature! And I need to order new business cards at work...

Do people usually change their passport name before or after the wedding? If before, how does that work without the certificate??

# re: Wedding paperwork :s

Hi I believe you have to send off for your passport 3 months before the wedding, and I could be wrong about this but I think they ask for a copy of your marriage license(??).  I do know that you receive a postdated passport in any case :)
